Kempas
is an exotic species of hardwood flooring that offers one of
the hardest, most dent resistant hardwoods
available from anywhere in
the world. Kempas has Janka hardness of 1710 (compared to
approx. 1260 for Red Oak).
It’s properties are very close the popular Jatoba (Brazillian
Cherry), which are much more expensive.
